7. Don't pay for duplicate cover - check your car
insurance policy
Look
at your policy carefully when it comes to renewal time.
Are you paying for cover that you don't need? Are you
paying for duplicate items of cover? For instance, have
you taken out legal expenses cover in the event of an
accident? If so check your household insurance policy -
to make sure that you are not duplicating your cover.
Some household policies also provide legal expenses
cover that extend to road traffic accidents. And also
make sure you understand exactly the type of legal
expenses cover you have been sold. If it is to cover
legal expenses for personal injury claims in the event
of an accident, bear in mind, that these days, many
solicitors (especially in England and Wales) would take
on personal injury claims at no cost to the claimant.
This is because personal injury solicitors are now able
to recover all or most of their costs from the insurance
company of the party responsible for the accident upon
the successful conclusion of a claim. To contact a
"No Costs" firm of personal injury solicitors

Legal. Or find a solicitor at this No Win
No Fee Solicitors Directory.
