8. Group your policies together for cheap car insurance
Take a good look at who your other insurers are. For
example do you have a different insurance company for
your house content and/or building insurance? Many insurers offer a discount for multiple policies. If you insure your house with a certain company then ring them up,
or check out their websites and find out if they do car insurance. Get a quote from them. Find out what discounts they
offer .
Many companies will give you another discount if you already have insurance with them.
For example, at the time of writing both Norwich Union Direct
and Direct Line will discount your car insurance by 10% if you have a home insurance policy with them.
